Exams Overview¶
Two major exams — mid-year and end-of-year — each including an ACTFL proficiency self-assessment.

Exam Preparation Tips¶
- Review chapter vocabulary tables and the Glossary
- Practice SOV word order — put the verb last in every sentence you write
- Know the future -kte and negation -šni suffixes and how to apply them
- Review AIS 112 historical content — both exams include cultural questions
- Use chapter quizzes as practice runs — same question formats
- Study the gender speech distinction (Háu / Haŋ and sentence-final particles)
