Exams Overview¶
This course includes two major exams — one at mid-year and one at the end of year. Both exams include an ACTFL proficiency self-assessment to help students understand their language development.

Exam Preparation Tips¶
- Review chapter vocabulary lists and the Glossary
- Practice conjugating VAI verbs in all seven persons
- Know the animacy of all major vocabulary nouns (AN vs. IN)
- Review the cultural content — AIS 112 connections appear on both exams
- Practice writing sentences, not just memorizing words
- Use the chapter quizzes as practice tests — they use the same question formats
